I never fond this liking towards your face,
Never did I ever search for it.
Never cared if it appears full or half,
Clear or dull.
Holding thy starry nights,
Shining up with your face lit,
Heavens above me and above them,
Yet i never looked thee.
They praised you,
Every night when you rose high,
Beauty is thine,
They say,
Yet i never wondered your marvel.
Not that I envyed you,
Nor did I love the sun that
Burn my soul out each morning,
And opened up my secrets.
Because I failed to count you in my words,
Neither told out to others,
That my heart poured out
With love for thee.
But now in peace and darkness,
I sat out in the varandha,
Each silent nights,
Sipping my cup of coffee,
To drain my sleep.
Hiding myself from others,
Softly in low I send melodies up to you,
I sketch the little faces you make for me,
I admire you,
Make love to you.
That's when I'm happy,
I'm complete.
I feel thy warmth around me,
The romance I never lied before.
